What is Frameline?
Frameline is a white-label platform for volume photography studios that shoot youth sports, schools, and events. Each studio gets its own branded website, online store and checkout, order fulfillment and shipping, a parent portal, a roster and league CRM, and email marketing, all under the studio's own brand and domain. You run the business inside one system instead of stitching together a gallery store, a website builder, an email tool, and a shipping app.
How is Frameline different from a gallery-store platform?
Most photo-selling tools are storefronts attached to a print lab: galleries live on a shared marketplace or subdomain, and many take a percentage of every order. Frameline gives the studio a real website on its own domain, lets the studio connect its own payment account and its own lab, and adds order fulfillment, a roster and parent CRM, and email marketing in the same platform. The store is the studio's property, not a booth inside someone else's marketplace.
Does Frameline take a percentage of my sales?
No. Frameline is sold as a flat subscription. You connect your own payment provider, so card payments and payouts run through your account and you keep the order revenue. Standard payment-processor fees from your provider still apply, but Frameline does not skim a commission off each photo order.
Can I use my own print lab?
Yes. Frameline is built so each studio connects its own lab and its own payment account rather than being locked to a single fulfillment partner. You set your own products, packages, and prices, and route orders to the lab you already work with.
Do I get my own website and domain, or just a gallery page?
You get a full website on your own domain, edited live in a visual builder, with your store, packages, and galleries as part of that site. It is not a templated gallery page on a shared marketplace. Studio name, logo, colors, copy, and pages all come from your settings.
How do parents order their kids' photos?
Parents sign in to your branded parent portal, see their own children's photos, and order from their phone. Galleries are private and watermarked until purchase. The flow is built for a parent ordering from the sideline in about a minute, with clear packages and digital downloads, and order, shipping, and delivery updates by email.
Does Frameline handle shipping and order fulfillment?
Yes. Inside the admin you can buy shipping labels, compare rates, print packing slips, and track shipments, with tracking numbers attached to orders automatically. League and team orders can ship together to one destination, while parent add-ons ship to individual homes. The pipeline runs from paid through processing, printed, shipped, and delivered, with an email at each step.
Does it have a CRM for leagues, teams, and parents?
Yes. Frameline tracks the league, season, team, shoot, athlete, parent, photo, and order as connected records, so the team is linked to the order rather than living in a separate spreadsheet. You can upload rosters, manage parents and kids, and run picture day check-in.
Can Frameline run more than one studio or location?
Yes. Frameline is multi-tenant by design. Each studio is an isolated tenant with its own domain, branding, data, payment account, and billing. It is built to run one studio or fifty, which is why the branding and configuration go all the way down to every page and email.
How do I match photos to the right student or athlete?
Frameline ties photos to subjects through your roster and shoot records, and supports a picture day check-in flow that links each child to their team and order. That keeps individual galleries accurate at scale instead of relying on handwritten notes and manual sorting after the shoot.
Is it mobile friendly for parents?
Yes, and the parent surfaces are designed mobile first. Most parents open a studio's store from a phone at a game, so the store, galleries, and checkout work cleanly at phone width with large tap targets and no horizontal scrolling.
Can I customize emails, packages, and pricing myself?
Yes. Packages, product prices, the website content, and the order and shipping email templates are all editable from the admin without a developer. Nothing about your studio name, branding, or copy is hardcoded.
Do I need to switch labs or payment providers to start?
No. Frameline connects to your own payment account and your own lab rather than forcing a specific one, so you keep the relationships and margins you already have and configure them in settings.
